The Devonport Triathlon is one of Australia's oldest, with the first event held in 1985. Since then, the Devonport Triathlon has hosted numerous high-profile events such as the World Triathlon Para Series, Oceania Championships & School Sport Australia Triathlon Championships
Champions of this event include:
Brad Beven, Loretta Harrop, Emma Jackson, Erin Densham, Brendon Sexton, Kris Gemmell, Courtney Atkinson and locals Craig Walton & Jake Birtwhistle, to name a few.
